John Robert Kelly

Managing Partner — Courtside Conseils Avocats

John Robert Kelly has over 20 years of experience as a lawyer licensed to practice in Quebec, Ontario, and Paris.

John Robert Kelly founded Courtside Counsel following the successful sale of Lex Start which he co-founded in 2014. He has provided legal services to large cap TSX and NYSE companies such as Sun Life Financial. Prior to founding Courtside Counsel, he was formerly a Partner in one of the largest law firms in Quebec.

Thaïs S. Pinto

CEO – Courtside Counsel Lawyers

With over two decades of experience in law and human resources consulting, Thaïs currently serves as CEO at Courtside Counsel, where she leads the firm’s growth strategy.

Her professional journey includes senior leadership roles as Director of multinational consulting firms as well as President and Chief Legal Officer of the International Economic Forum of the Americas. At Courtside Counsel, her mission is to align legal expertise with clients’ business objectives to drive sustainable growth by combining legal insight with strategic vision.
